Still she bloomed

this is my story.

It begins with the moment I realized the life I had spent years holding together was not what I thought it was, but the book became about so much more than betrayal or divorce.

It is about the woman I had been long before that moment. The ways I learned to become useful, needed, capable, and easy to love. The marriage I built. The children I raised. The body I changed. The career I grew. The house I fought to keep. The man I thought might be part of my next chapter. The patterns I did not recognize until I saw them repeating in places I never expected.

This is the story of how I stopped asking, How do I keep everything together? and started asking, What is actually mine to build?

It is personal, messy, funny, painful, and very real.

If you have ever looked at your own life and wondered how you became the woman carrying all of it, you may find more of yourself in my story than you expect.
